What do I do about my window air conditioner?

My boyfriend recently bought an older model window air conditioner from his boss's mother who ped. It works wonders, cools the room, but when we take it out of the window, there is a pool of water that settles and pours out on the floor. Is this normal? I cant constantly leave it in the window because it fits funny (not dangerously, just funny) but also, the pool of water is bothering me. What could cause my 96 dodge ram 2wd front brakes to grab at very low speeds?

I just replaced rotors, bearings, one caliper, and put on new ceramic pads. I think I bled it properly but both sides grab just before I come to a complete stop. Also when rolling slowly, a little pressure on brakes causes them to really sound rough. Could a stuck caliper that damaged the rotor have caused larger problems upstream?

You've done what you could to try to be some of istance, and it doesn't work, so the best thing to do is just leave it alone, and let them come to you whenever they are ready to have a conversation like normal people. And you can't really do much for your boyfriend's brother's wife, because she needs help all on her on, if she wants to continue to pick fights and probe in everyone else's business that's all on her, someone will soon get enough of her mess and they'll straighten her out and she'll stop.. As for the money thing, you're right about everybody not having as much money as others, and relationships of any sort shouldn't be based off money either. What is up with my knee?

Hi. I hurt my knee about 2.5 weeks ago (fell down stairs) and i went to the doctors a little bit after that to have it x-rayed and luckily nothing was broken (bone wise) but that particular x-ray didn't show tendons and ligaments like an MRI would. On Saturday my knee was feeling much better so i danced in my recital and i really overdid it. Now the pain is so bad i collapse every time i stand up or walk around. I don't know if i slightly tore my ACL or something but it hurts that bad. I'm positive i didn't dislocate it or anything but u know... (PS. Does my daughter eat too much?

my 11 month old daughter is in size 18 month clothes already. at her 9 month check up she was 21 lbs. my son who is almost 5 only weighs forty. for breakfast she can eat a whole packet of oatmeal. for lunch she will eat a whole gerber graduate meal, or half a can of spaghettios, or half a sandwich. for dinner she has whatever we have but will have a good portion. half a of chicken, or whole hot dog, or large slice of pizza (veggie) or half pork chop. plus whatever sides we have such as potatoes and veggies. she eats more than my son sometimes. she also has a few snacks through out the day gerber cereal bar, fresh fruit, yogurt drops. things such as these. she is still on formula she has 3 to 4 six ounce bottles a day. and if someone is eating in front of her she screams until she gets something to eat too. she was born three weeks early and weighed 8 lbs 14 oz. i just don't remember my son eating this much. is this normal? should i be worried?

OK I know this has been asked a million times, but do you not worry that your faith is largely a result of your geographical location and the culture that you grew up in? If you were brought up in Afghanistan you would probably feel equally strongly about Islam. What I have started to do is... run ten minutes a day (about 6.5 mph) then I do lat pull down about 4 reps (50-60 pounds), then I bike for 5 minutes, then leg curls (about 4 reps at 50-60 pounds), then 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups (with both hands holding a 3 pound barbell, 50 side to side taps, and 50 accordions. I have started to drink lots of water, about 3-4 bottles a day. And I eat only 3 meals a day, all 3 together being under 2000 calories. Do you think all of this will help me lose 10 pounds by July 3rd?

Fetal movement patterns at 21 (almost 22 weeks) - is this normal?

Hey everyone! I'm pretty sure this is normal but I just like hearing stories from other women in the same situation as me. Like my question says, I am almost 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I've been feeling little movements since I was 16 weeks (my placenta is posterior so I can feel movements easier). Ever since I was 20-ish weeks I have felt kicks and wriggles every day, but some days I go hours without feeling much of anything. The baby is most active early in the morning, like until lunchtime, and then late at night. Is this normal to go hours without feeling anything? Sometimes I get really worried. I had an ultrasound this past week and everything was 100% normal...heartbeat was great & baby was measuring right on target. Any advice would be appreciated! :)

How did you wean you your babies from feeding?

How old is your baby? This info. is from experience only. My son had 8 teeth by 8 months and loved to eat table food, so he began showing signs of self weaning by 7 months. We were co-sleeping also. 5x per 24 hours is still quite a bit. I began by choosing which nursing session seemed most important to him, and that was the night feeding. I decided that one would be the last to go for him. When weaning, it's important not to push it on either of you, because you don't want to go back once you've come so far, wondering if you did the right thing at the right time. I began by offering the , and after 5 min. or so, getting him interested in eating breakfast. Then, I would repeat the same thing, nursing less and less at each session, offering a bottle or food. Then I began to offer a bottle instead of for afternoon naptime. He loved the bottle, so it was pretty downhill from there. All in all I'd say it only took a couple of weeks to get completely weaned, with the exception of once before bedtime. It also gave me time to dry up. Once she gets to liking a bottle, offer her the at bedtime to sleep, but not while laying in bed. Make sure you sit up while watching tv or something, and slowly get her used to being put to bed without being latched on. It may take only a time or two to do this. Then, just try a bottle to sleep at night and see how she does. I have 5 kids, and don't mind co-sleeping, but not all of them slept with me or nursed. It will be easier on your baby and you if you help her to learn how to put herself to sleep rather than depend on nursing herself to sleep. Hope this is helpful.

Virus disabled my laptops USB ports, what can I do?

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on a Gateway NV53 series Laptop. I got a virus that hijacked my computer and wouldnt let anything run known as a auto.inf virus. Well after receiving this virus i quickly scanned and removed all viruses from malwarebyte anti-malware then proceeded to do a clean install. Well the clean install went good i'm virus free (i think) but my USB drives don't work. All devices work properly on other computers. Even while booting up the USB doesn't turn on ( i plugged in a USB mouse.) Most cases I've read the device will turn on during boot and get disabled and was fixed easily. But in my case its not working at all. I've tried to uninstall all drivers, in regular and safe mode, nothing. Went in Bios its running a Pheonix Bios with no advanced settings at all. I also tried to go into the registry to see if there was anything abnormal but everything seems okay. I don't know whats going on, someone with this experience or knows how to get around this PLEASE HELP!

The Sims 3: Can't change active household after World Adventures?

I got world adventures and I started having the problem where when you change active households it goes to a view of sunset valley with no UI and you have to quit using the task manager. I've patched it to 2.3 and the problem persists. I know King John of England in 1215 signed the Magna Carta but since he was illeterate he used a giant X as his name. Fiances ex-gf living with his mom?

How do you combat soreness after while pregnant?

I am now 32 weeks into my first pregnancy and me and my significant other have always had an active life. At least every other day we were having . The pregnancy has gone wonderfully with minimal spotting, no morning sickness or any other ailments. Now that I am eight months, my feet are tired all the time due to work and school and whenever we do it, my gets sore and sometimes its two to three whole days before I can recuperate. Can anyone give me advice on how to combat this? Should we hold off on having so frequently?

I would talk to relatives about this, no one should have to go through that. I think that you should have a nice long talk with your mom and say that if you don't either get rid of him or change something i am leaving. She should decide to change things since you are her son. Whole grains are better than whole wheat. To sustain the weight after your diet, you need to slowly introduce more calories to your diet, say 100 calories more each week. This way your metabolism adapts to you daily calorie intake so you don't gain weight. You do need to exercise to burn fat and build muscle. Dieting won't make all the fat go away. You need to do cardio at least half an hour a day, 5 days a week. Also, try to do some strength training like weight lifting to build muscle m. You should do this 2-3 times a week. With this, you will be losing 1-2 pounds a week. Be patient. You may not see results quickly but keep at it and you will get to your goal.

It makes sense and you did throw out some good ideas. Most of the people in the prison system are in need of therapy for mental illnesses and anger issues. These people do need to be taught self control and how to be productive citizens, but they have bigger problems that need to be dealt with. They need to quit grouping people in for drug charges with murders and they need to prevention programs to keep people out of prison in the first place. Unfortunately if you go to prison you shouldn't have the same rights as everyone else. It is an incentive not to be sent there to begin with.

West Highland Terrier won't potty train.?

My husband and I bought a West Highland Terrier last year, and she is now a little over 1 year old. When we first got her, she was only 6 weeks old. She peed in the house about 5 times a day no matter how many times you took her out. This trend has continued for almost a year now. We spent so much time training her, but NOTHING has worked!! She has a habit of looking guilty, i.e. going to her kennel, putting her ears back and taking you to the spot where she peed of pooped on the floor. We always discipline her. We rub her nose in it, swat her on the , make her sleep or spend most of the day in the kennel and tell her she needs to potty outside. Got more TH400 questions?

I have a TH400 behind my small block 327 and it wont shift out of first gear. I just changed the front fluid pump in it and re-installed it in my truck. I have filled it with fluid and checked my vacuum modulator which is connected and has good vacuum at idle. I have also taken off the kick down plug off of the solenoid and it still wouldnt shift. So I have it narrowed down to either the solenoid is bad (I bent the prong when I had it out) or the governor is plugged. I am unable to manually shift it because it is not the original transmission and the gear shift doesnt have 1L, just 2L and drive. Any idea what this sounds like? when I did remove the front pump, it was because I broke the lugs off. So there could be some shavings in the trans and I dont have money for a rebuild.

My 3.5 month old baby boy cries for no reason?

I know this isn't colic as my daughter had this and nothing soothes a colicky baby. also colic pes by about 12 weeks. He cries so much and so hard but is instantly soothed when I pick him up. The doctor thought he had acid reflux around a month so he takes axid twice a day. Is it possible this has stopped working and its the reflux. He spits up ALOT and its generally very watery with milky bits in it. By the way he is bottle fed using milk only that I express. Could it be anything to do with the milk? If it is not the reflux and mearly that he wants picking up, can I leave him to cry. I have a vague memory about not letting baby boys scream as it can damage their little private's, but can't remember for sure. Thanks any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I took a nap and during the nap I had an art lesson. I did not know what was happening until the ' dream artist' made a cursive J or a cursive F. At least that is what it appeared to be until I started to see the flourishes. I began to realize that I was not alert to the message. The 'dream artist' was giving me a design. Hi fellow seniors, do you wear a wristwatch?

I don't wear a wrist-watch at home, but when I leave the house it's a must have. I don't forget it very often but on occasion when I have, I feel so lost without it. I catch myself checking the time but only seeing my bare wrist! Now that there are so many inexpensive ones to choose from, I have several and switch around according to which one goes best with what I'm wearing. There's only one kind of band that they all must have though, and that's the kind that fastens with a buckle. I don't want one that moves around on my wrist. A good tip that I would like to p on to everyone is this: When you take a watch off and won't be wearing it for awhile, pull the stem out to stop the battery power. This saves the battery and makes it last an unbelievably long time. When you have several watches, as I do, it saves a lot of money spent on new batteries.

becos the kid is on ur lap, it is umed they dont take up space and they fly free, it is also umed they dont have baggage becos they share the carers bag. If ur kid is 2 and ur taing a flight longer then 2 hours I would not reccommend he sit on ur lap, u should book them their own seat cos u will be so uncomfortable during ur flght and the kid will most likely be wrestless after some time. Have I found more people on Streetp then listed at Mii Plaza? Nintendo 3DS?

I've owned a 3DS since launch day and so far ony found one person on streetp (or so it says!). I was playing around with the Mii Studio and I found out that you could press left on the D-pad and X and Y to bring up a blocked users list which you can manage. When I opened this up, there were three people I was able to block, one the person I'd met in streetp, and the other two I've never seen before. I checked all my Miis but none matched, I have no friends on my Friends List and I haven't played online with anybody
