How to convince my parents to let me...?

So I really want another piercing. Nothing, major really. I just want my auricle(between the pinna and the lobes) pierced. My dad thinks it's gonna make me a 'punk' and he doesn't want me to 'go down that path'. My mom just thinks I'll look like a skank. How can I convince them to let me get it pierced without them getting upset about it? Thanks in advance!
