Does the 'Shake the Weight' diet work?

I'm VERY curious about this, basically it's a diet where a nutritionist (I suppose they have some certification?) makes up a plan for you and designs a special milkshake for you to drink two times a day as a substitute for your choice of two of your meals. You also get a green tea to drink and little nutrition bars if you're hungry. This is what I've gathered from the website and the internet. I could do this, but I'm not willing to waste my money on something like this unless it's going to have results. It sounds too easy to be true, so does it work? Have you personally tried it?
