Is there anyway I can avoid having my doctor examine my during a physical?

I'm a male and I have a physical scheduled. I know checking the genitalia is a mandatory part of a physical (at least for my physical it is). My physician is a female and I'm really uncomfortable with the idea of her examining me down there because I'm not exactly a stallion down below. I have no other choice as far as physicians go. Is this unavoidable? Can someone else do it? Anyone personally experience this or maybe your child went through this portion of the physical?
