Will there be a euro President?

No there will not be a President of Europe as a result of the Lisbon Treaty. But if there ever is any such proposal in the future, remember the EU is no longer run from western Europe but the EU Council is now dominated by former Soviet Bloc countries, who all vote for one another. If we ever do get a President of Europe he or she is most likely to be Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Rumanian or possibly Latvian, Estonian or Lithuanian - definitely not British, French nor Dutch..
