What's up with giant thick rimmed raybans?

So does everyone wanna be a hipster now..? My opinion, if your name is not ben folds, or you're not above the age of 65, or a member of a Swedish indie Rick band, nor do you have a inability to see, then you should probaly stay away from giant raybans, but that's just my personal opinion, so what do you guys think about the retro thick rimmed Raybans, when you have 20/20 vision...?
