Has society gone to piddle?

People beating up pensioners, 13 year old kids with guns, racism and radical islam on the rise, anti social behaviour, out of control binge drinking and financial and political catastrophe. The statistics may tell a different story but if you watch the telly it seems it's only a matter of time before you get stabbed to death for trying to help a pensioner who is beating beaten up by a gang of ferrel youths. What are your opinions on the state of society?
