Blood tested for cholesterol, i need to know what can all be shown in a test

Blood tests are very specific. A blood test to measure cholesterol will measure just that. Cigarettes are not illegal and no one care if you smoke them nor does anyone bother to contrive a blood test to check to see if indeed you are smoking. There are tox screen and drug tests to determine specific drugs in the system. Unless one of these tests ordered, drug use cannot be determined. Drug use is not picked up in a blood test for cholesterol.
