Adobe Dreamweaver, trying to refer to a text file for site content.?

Creating a site for my client who isn't very computer literate. He wants to be able to place news updates online regularly, and I think the best way is to have him type his news in a text file, that the webpage would display in a table. I'm not sure how to do it though. Any suggestions or alternatives?
